Newsletter - January 2012

Happy New Year! We look forward to re-opening our lovely shop on Tuesday 17 January. We have been busy getting in some gorgeous spring bulbs and plants and our seaonsal flowers for spring - and not a single door wreath or red rose in site - we promise!

Flowers are starting to come in shades of pale blue and white for this time of year, we have some lovely large headed blue hydrangeas for next week - they are ideal in a vase on their own and certainly give a wow-factor for a hall table arrangement.

If you are entertaining and would like an arrangement made up to collect, give us a call and we can have it ready for you Tuesday to Saturday. Please allow a couple of days notice if there is something in particularl you would like.

We are now offering a weekly or bi-weekly delivery service in and around Tunbridge Wells, minimum order must be £35. This can range from a seasonal hand tied, through to a table arrangment. This is a great way of receiving the freshest of flowers, delivered to your door, each week. Call the shop and speak to Nancy for more information.

Wedding season approaching

The shop is getting busier on Saturday mornings during January and February with bridal consultations.  All our brides need to make an appointment to discuss their wedding flower designs, as we are unable to give them our undivided attention whilst serving in the shop.

Workshops for 2012

We thoroughly enjoyed our christmas wreath making workshops and of course the halloween table decoration class for children. It was lovely to see the ladies taking home their absolute masterpieces, ready to hang on their doors (even the one that broke into pieces after the postman had a little accident the following morning!)

After popular demand we shall continue to run our workshops for both adults and children during the course of the year - one popular suggestion was a childrens class on the run up to mothering Sunday - more information to follow next month.
